J-BILD welcomes new members to the editorial team

J-BILD is pleased to announce three additions to our editorial team: Patricia Houde, Joseph Tongkeh Fowale, and Bethany Cross.

Patricia Houde joins us as a French-language copy editor along with Joseph Tongkeh Fowale and Bethany Cross as English-language copy editors.

Bethany Cross is a graduate student at McGill, where she is completing her Master’s degree in Education and Society. Bethany is a high school teacher in British Columbia, where she also earned her BA in History and her Bachelor’s of Education. Currently, she is completing her thesis, which focuses on the role of suffering in educational experiences. Bethany joins J-BILD with considerable copy editing experience, including PhD dissertations, UN Habitat project documents, and the African Charter for Child Rights.

Joseph Tongkeh Fowale is a graduate student at McGill University in the Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning (MATL), specializing in Social Sciences. As a teacher and educator, his research interests are in three major areas: content improvement/development, curriculum improvement, and social social justice. These passions derive from his previous graduate studies; he holds Master’s degrees in both International Public Affairs and History. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Instructional Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in History. He has extensive editing experience, including his current position as Editor for the International Political Science Review (London, UK); Editor for History/Politics, Suite101 (Vancouver, Canada); Researcher and writer for the South Centre (Geneva, Switzerland); and Editorialist for the Sun Media (Toronto, Canada).
